After finished his shooting in Hotelier, Bae Yong Joon flew to U.S. alone. From July to October 2001, he disappeared from everyone again, even his agency didn’t know much where he is.
หลังจากถ่ายทำละครเรื่อง Hotelier เสร็จสิ้น เบยองจุนก็เหินฟ้าสู่อเมริกาตามลำพัง ตั้งแต่เดือน ก.ค. – ต.ค. 2001 เขาหายหน้าหายตาไปจากทุกคนอีกครั้ง แม้แต่เอเจนซี่ของเขาก็ไม่รู้ว่าเขาไปอยู่ที่ไหน
When the 9/11 attacked took place, everyone were terribly worried about him. Finally, BYJ sent email to his agency to inform that he was in Los Angeles. Thanks God! During those 3 – 4 months, he had made one trip to Canada to shooting Jo Sung Mo’s MV, Goodbye My Love.
เมื่อเกิดเหตุการณ์ 9/11 ขึ้น ทุกคนพากันเป็นห่วงเขา จนสุดท้ายเขาก็ส่งอีเมล์มาแจ้งเอเจนซี่ว่าเขาอยู่ที่ลอสแองเจลิส ขอบคุณสวรรค์จริงๆ ระหว่าง 3-4 เดือนนั้น เขาได้เดินทางไปแคนาดาเพื่อถ่ายทำเอ็มวีของ โจซังโม ในเพลง Goodbye My Love เอ็มวีชิ้นแรกและชิ้นเดียวในชีวิตของเบยองจุน
In August, he flew to Canada to acting in MV Goodbye My Love of a famous Korean singer, Jo Sung Mo. Jo Sung Mo had chosen BYJ and Lee Na Young to be in his MV.
เดือนสิงหาคม เขาบินไปแคนาดาเพื่อถ่ายทำเอ็มวี Goodbye My Love ของศิลปินนักร้องชื่อดังชาวเกาหลี โจซังโม โจซังโมได้เลือกเบยองจุนกับลีนายังแสดงในเอ็มวีเพลงนี้ของเขา
In this MV, BYJ had transformed himself from the image of Mr.Frank Shin into a freshly big boy again. He became a poor student studying in Canada and had to work sevreal jobs for his living. Lee Na Young, also a student who worked part-time at a florist and had been crushed with this paperboy who delivered papers at her apartment everyday. One day, the paperboy’s bicycle got stolen and he tried to get it back. Finally, he got hurt at his one eye by gangsters. At the same time, the girl also had been thrown out from her apartment by the landlord . This unlukcy couple found each other and fell in love. Love had lit hope in their eyes. But unfortunately, the girl had an accident on her way to meet her lover. And the sad love story was ending like this. With the heartbreaking scene of the boy still waiting at the tracks with smiling on his face. Waiting for his never come back lover.
ในเอ็มวี เบยองจุนต้องปรับเปลี่ยนตัวเองจากภาพลักษณ์ของชินด็องฮ็อค มาเป็นเด็กหนุ่มหน้าใสอีกครั้ง เขารับบทเป็นนักศึกษายากจนที่ไปเรียนที่แคนาดา เขาต้องทำงานหลายอย่างเพื่อยังชีพ ลีนายังก็เล่นเป็นนักศึกษาเช่นกัน เธอทำงานพิเศษอยู่ที่ร้านขายดอกไม้ บังเอิญมีเหตุให้เธอต้องมาเจอกับเด็กหนุ่มที่มาส่งหนังสือพิมพ์ที่อพาร์ตเม้นท์ของเธอทุกวัน วันหนึ่งรถจักรยานของเด็กหนุ่มถูกขโมยไป และเขาต้องไปเอามันคืนมา สุดท้ายเขาก็ถูกพวกนักเลงรุมซ้อมจนเสียดวงตาไปหนึ่งข้าง ในเวลาเดียวกันนั้นเอง เด็กสาวก็ถูกไล่ออกจากห้องพัก คนโชคร้ายสองคนต้องมาตกระกำลำบากด้วยกันและเกิดความรักกัน ความรักจุดประกายแห่งความหวังให้แก่พวกเขา แต่โชคร้ายที่เด็กสาวเกิดประสบอุบัติเหตุระหว่างทางที่จะไปพบกับคนรักของเธอ แล้วเรื่องรักรันทดนี้ก็จบลง จบด้วยภาพที่ชวนให้ใจแหลกสลาย ภาพของเด็กหนุ่มที่กำลังนั่งรออยู่บนทางรถไฟพร้อมรอยยิ้มบนใบหน้า เขากำลังรอคอยคนรักที่ไม่มีวันกลับมา
It was just a 6 minutes MV but BYJ still at his very best as always. He enjoyed with the shooting and had been friendly with the whole team. For Lee Na Young, she had met him before in “Have We Really Love?” as his younger sister, so they had no problem to work together once again. BYJ trated her as his real younger sister.
แม้จะเป็นเอ็มวีความยาวเพียงแค่ 6 นาที แต่เบยองจุนก็แสดงได้อย่างดีเยี่ยมเช่นเคย เขาสนุกสนานกับการถ่ายทำและเข้ากับทีมงานได้ดี สำหรับลีนายังนั้น เธอเคยแสดงกับเขามาก่อนในเรื่อง “Have We Really Love?” ในบทน้องสาวของเขา ทั้งคู่จึงไม่มีปัญหาในการกลับมาร่วมงานกันอีกครั้ง เบยองจุนปฏิบัติต่อเธอราวกับเป็นน้องสาวแท้ๆ ของเขาเลยทีเดียว
