【서울=뉴시스】 한국드라마제작사협회(회장 신현택)가 특정 연기자에게 별도의 인센티브를 적용할 수 있다는 문건이 시비를 불렀다. 협회가 지난달 20일 회원사들에게 보낸 ‘제작비 항목별 상한액 추천 안내’라는 문서가 문제가 됐다.

배용준, 장동건, 이병헌, 비, 정우성, 송승헌, 권상우, 원빈, 소지섭 등 9명이 드라마 수출에 기여한 공로를 인정해 일본 판매액 중 제비용 공제 후 제작사 재량으로 일정비율의 인센티브를 별도 지급할 수 있다는 내용이다.

협회는 “지난달 1일 한국 방송드라마PD협회 세미나에서 선문대학교 김진웅 교수와 방송영상산업진흥원 하윤금 박사가 발제하고 제안한 내용을 근거로 했다”며 “이번 문건은 한국드라마 산업 발전을 위한 드라마 제작의 요소 비용 및 현실화를 위한 협회의 항목별 상한액”이라고 밝혔다.

이와 관련, KBI 관계자는 “하윤금 KBI 책임연구원이 세미나에서 ‘한국TV 연기자 출연료 제도의 합리적 대안 모색’을 발제한 것은 맞지만, 그렇게 해야 한다는 제안을 하지는 않았다”고 반박했다.

하 연구원의 발제는 “일각에서는 대표적인 한류스타인 배용준, 송승헌, 권상우, 최지우, 송혜교, 원빈 등은 일본 등지에서 스타캐스팅의 효과가 분명하게 나타나는 연기자들로 특별한 출연료 산정이 적용돼야 한다는 지적도 하고 있다”고 돼있다. 결국, 협회가 아전인수 식으로 해석한 셈이다.
