Red Cross Concert Korea-Thailand Relationship




To celebrate the 50th year of Thailand-Korea friendship, the Thai Red Cross Society, in association with the Sod-Nien Kuramarohid Foundation, has organized a charity concert entitled “Red Cross Concert Korea-Thailand Relationship”, on Friday 20th February 2009 at the National Cultural Center (the main auditorium), for the benefit of the Thai Red Cross Society to be used to improve the capability to diagnose and to treat brain disorders diseases at the Molecula Biology Laboratory for Neurological Diseases Center, King Chulalongkorn Memorail Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society.

The concert will be performed for the first and only time in Thailand. The Prime Philharmonic Orchestra will be joined by leading opera Korean singers and Thai singers. The opera Korean cast includes Mr Yun-Sung Chang (conductor), Mr Kim Jun Man (Tenor), Mr Yoo Mi Sook (Soprano), Mr Jang You Sang (Baritone) and Mr Lee Ah Kyoung (Mezzo-Soprano). The Thai singers include Jairat Pitakchareon, Sivipa Prompiriya, Sirikwan Buothong, Dhonchai Boonyaratavej, Thani Poonsuwan, and Koravit Thephadsadin Na Ayutthaya. They are at the concert to sing the songs by Pasit Silapabunleng (a national artist appointed in 1998) and other world-famous operatic songs.

The Thai Red Cross Society would like to invite the public to attend the charity concert on Friday 20th February 2009 at the National Cultural Center (the main auditorium), at 19.30 pm. เพื่อร่วมเฉลิมฉลอง 50 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศไทยกับประเทศสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี สภากาชาดไทย ร่วมกับ มูลนิธิสด – เนียน กูรมะโรหิต กำหนดจัดให้มีการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตการกุศล “Red Cross Concert Korea-Thailand Relationship มหาดุริยางค์ทวิสัมพันธ์ ไทย–เกาหลี” ขึ้น ในวันศุกร์ที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2552 ณ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (หอประชุมใหญ่) และนำเงินรายได้เพื่อโดยเสด็จพระราชกุศลบำรุงสภากาชาดไทย สมทบโครงการศูนย์ปฏิบัติการโรคทางสมองช่วยพัฒนาศักยภาพในการวินิจฉัยการรักษาและวิจัยโรคทางสมอง โรงพยาบาลจุฬาลงกรณ์ สภากาชาดไทย

นับเป็นการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตการกุศลครั้งแรกและครั้งเดียวในประเทศไทย สำหรับ “Red Cross Concert Korea-Thailand Relationship มหาดุริยางค์ทวิสัมพันธ์ ไทย – เกาหลี” โดยวงศ์ดุริยางค์ ไพรม ฟิลฮาร์โมนิค และคณะนักร้องที่มีชื่อเสียงจากสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี นำโดยนักแสดงโอเปร่าคอนเสิร์ต มิสเตอร์คิม จุน มาน (Kim Jun Man – Tenor) มิสเตอร์ยุน ซุง ชาง (Yun-Sung Chang – Conductor) , มิสเตอร์ยู มี ซุก (Yoo Mi Sook – Soprano) , มิสเตอร์จาง ยู ซัง (Jang You Sang – Baritone) และ มิสเตอร์ลี อา คุง (Lee AH Kyoung Mezzo-Soprano) ร่วมด้วยคณะนักร้องจากประเทศไทย อาทิ ใจรัตน์ พิทักษ์เจริญ, สิวิภา พรหมพิริยะ, สิริขวัญ บัวทอง , ดลชัย บุณยะรัตเวช ธานี พูนสุวรรณ , กรวิช เทพหัสดิน ณ อยุธยา ซึ่งจะมาร่วมแสดงผลงานของประสิทธิ์ ศิลปบรรเลง ศิลปินแห่งชาติ พ.ศ.2541 และบทเพลงจากอุปรากรที่มีชื่อเสียงของโลก ทั้งนี้ สภากาชาดไทย ได้รับพระมหากรุณาจากสมเด็จพระเจ้าลูกเธอเจ้าฟ้าจุฬาภรณ์วลัยลักษณ์ อัครราชกุมารี เสด็จพระราชดำเนินทอดพระเนตรการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตการกุศลมหาดุริยางค์ทวิสัมพันธ์ไทย – เกาหลี ในวันศุกร์ที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2552 ตั้งแต่ เวลา 19.50 น. เป็นต้นไป ณ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (หอประชุมใหญ่)
