ขออีกสักคลิปนะคะจากงานนาฏราช ครั้งที่ 1 เมื่อวันที่ 16 พ.ค. กับบทเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ “ความฝันอันสูงสุด” ที่เหล่าศิลปินช่วยกันขับร้องบนเวทีค่ะ

Once again from Natarach Awards for Thai Artists on May 16. This song is the Royal Song that composed by His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej, called “The Impossible Dream”.

กัปตัน : เมื่อตอนเป็นเด็ก คนไทยทุกคนคงเคยได้ฟังคำสอนจากพ่อแม่ ว่าให้เรารักและภูมิใจในชาติ ศาสนา พระมหากษัตริย์ และวันหนึ่งเมื่อเราได้โตขึ้นมา และได้อยู่ในบ้านเมืองที่ร่มเย็นเป็นสุข มันได้พิสูจน์แล้วว่าคำสอนเหล่านั้นเป็นเรื่องที่ถูกต้อง และเราทุกคนควรปฏิบัติตาม

Putanes : Since we’re young, we’ve been taught by our parents to love and be proud in our country, our religion, and our king. And one day when we grown up, we live in a peaceful country. It has been proved that what was told by our parents is right and we should do as they said.

นก สินจัย : แต่เมื่อเราเติบโตขึ้นมาเป็นผู้ใหญ่ การตั้งคำถามและความคิดเห็นที่แตกต่างย่อมเกิดขึ้นเป็นธรรมดา อาจเลือกไปทางซ้ายหรือทางขวา อาจเลือกชอบคนนี้หรือเลือกเกลียดคนนั้น อาจเลือกสวมสีเหลือง อาจเลือกใส่สีแดง อาจสวมหลากสี หรือไม่มีสี แต่ความแตกต่างก็ไม่มีความจำเป็นที่เราจะต้องเลิกรักสามสิ่งที่เราเคยรักมาตลอด

Sinjai : But when we grown up, it’s natural that sometimes we have questions and have different point of views. Sometimes you’d like to go left or right, or chose to like someone and hate someone. You can like yellow, or red, or colorful, or colorless. But differences doesn’t mean you need to stop loving those three things that you love all of your life.

นก จริยา : เมื่อเราคิดแตกต่างก็ไม่ได้หมายความว่าต้องแตกแยก และเราก็ไม่ได้เห็นผู้อื่นเป็นศัตรูของเรา เพราะทุกวันนี้คนไทยทุกคนได้อยู่บนผืนแผ่นดินที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ ร่มเย็นเป็นสุข กว่าหลายๆ ประเทศในโลกนี้ เพราะเราคนไทยทุกคนอยู่ภายใต้ร่มโพธิ์ร่มไทรเดียวกัน

Jariya : Different standpoint doesn’t mean dividing, doesn’t mean you need to see others as your enemy. Because all Thai people now living on the wealthier and more peaceful land than many places in the world. We, all Thai people living under the same roof.

อ๊อฟ พงษ์พัฒน์ : เพราะฉะนั้นอย่าอายถ้าจะลุกมาบอกใครต่อใครว่าเรารักชาติ อย่ากลัวถ้าเราจะบอกใครต่อใครว่าเรารักศาสนา และอย่าหวั่นเกรงภัยอันตรายใดๆ ทั้งสิ้น ถ้าเราจะบอกใครต่อใครว่าเรารักพระมหากษัตริย์

Pongpat : So, don’t be shy to tell anyone that we love our country. Don’t be afraid to tell anyone that we love our religion. And don’t scare for any harmful to tell anyone that we love our King.

นก สินจัย : นานแค่ไหนแล้วที่เราอาจลืมสอนลูกหลานของเรา ให้รักและภาคภูมิใจในชาติ ศาสนา และพระมหากษัตริย์

Sinjai : Since when that you never teach your children to love and be proud in their country, their religion, and their King?

เพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ “ความฝันอันสูงสุด” เป็นบทเพลงพระราชนิพนธ์ลำดับที่ 43 ทรงพระราชนิพนธ์เมื่อ พ.ศ.2514 ท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค ได้รับพระราชเสาวนีย์จากสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถ ให้เขียนบทกลอนแสดงความนิยมส่งเสริมคนดีให้มีกำลังใจทำงานเพื่ออุดมคติเพื่อประเทศชาติ ออกมาเป็นกลอน 5 บท

สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถโปรดให้พิมพ์บทกลอนนี้ลงในกระดาษการ์ดแผ่นเล็ก ๆ พระราชทานแก่ข้าราชการ ทหาร ตำรวจ พลเรือน และผู้ทำงานเพื่อประเทศชาติ เตือนสติมิให้ท้อถอยในการทำความดี ต่อมา สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าฯ พระบรมราชินีนาถได้กราบบังคมทูลพระกรุณาขอให้พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงใส่ทำนองเพลงในคำกลอน "ความฝันอันสูงสุด" เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2514

ท่านผู้หญิงมณีรัตน์ บุนนาค ประพันธ์บทกลอน ความฝันอันสูงสุด โดยถอดความมาจากเพลง The Impossible Dream ซึ่งเป็นเพลงละครบรอดเวย์ จากเรื่อง Man of La Mancha ที่แสดงระหว่างปี 2508-2514 บทละครเขียนโดย Dale Wasserman ทำนองเพลงโดย Mitch Leigh และคำร้องโดย Joe Darion ต่อมาได้รับการสร้างเป็นหนังในปี 2515 เป็นเรื่องราวของดอน กิโฮเต้ (Don Quixote)

“The Impossible Dream” is the Royal Composition No.43 that composed by H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1971. Prof. Thanpuying Maneerat Bunnag had been asked by H.M. Queen Sirikit to write a poem that encourage good people who devoted themselves to serve our country. After that the Queen had printed this poem into a little card and give to all officers, soldiers, polices, civilians etc. to remind them to keeping on with their good deeds. Later, the Queen had asked His Majesty to compose music for this poem and it turned into this song “The Impossible Dream”.

Prof. Thanpuying Maneerat Bunnag had written the poem “The Impossible Dream” by translated from Broadway Song, The Impossible Dream, of the musical play “Man of La Mancha”. This musical play performed in 1965 – 1971. Script written by Dale Wasserman, music by Mitch Leigh, and lyric by Joe Darion. “Man of La Mancha” is the classical literature. It’s the story of Don Quixote.
