ความโรแมนติกของ Autumn in My Heart ผ่านเลยไปแล้ว และพรหมลิขิตที่ส่องแสงสีเขียวใน Summer Scent ก็ได้พัดผ่านไป จนมาถึงหิมะสีขาวของ Winter Love Song ที่ได้ละลายลงพร้อมกับความรัก ฤดูทั้ง 3 ได้ล่วงเลยไปแล้ว ฤดูใบไม้ผลิที่กำลังก้าวเข้ามานี้ จะทำให้ผลงานฤดูกาลของผู้กำกับยูนซอกโฮจบลงได้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบ นักแสดงนำทั้ง 4 คนไม่ว่าจะเป็นซอโดยอง, ฮานฮโยจู, ดาเนียล เฮนนี่, อีโซยอน ได้เดินทางไปมาระหว่างออสเตรเลียและนัมโด เพื่อที่จะถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวความรักที่เหมือนกับภาพวาดในความทรงจำวัยเด็กอัน งดงามและการพบกันอีกครั้งของพวกเขา ในละครเรื่อง Spring Waltz

Spring Waltz คือเรื่องราวความรักของชายหนุ่มและหญิงสาวที่เติบโตมาด้วยกันในหมู่บ้านบน เกาะทางใต้ในวัยเด็ก และได้มาพบกันอีกครั้งที่ออสเตรีย เพื่อที่จะรักษาบาดแผลภายในใจด้วยความรักอันอบอุ่น นักแสดงนำทั้งสี่คนนั้นล้วนแต่เป็นนักแสดงหน้าใหม่ทั้งสิ้น ซอโดยองรับบทเป็นแจฮาที่เก็บรักษาภาพในวัยเยาว์เอาไว้และเป็นนักเปียโนชื่อ ดังที่ทำงานอยู่ในออสเตรีย ฮานฮโยจูรับบทเป็นอึนยองที่ได้สัมผัสกับพรหมลิขิตที่ออสเตรียเมืองแห่งวอลซ์ ดาเนียล เฮนนี่รับบทเป็นฟิลลิปที่มีอารมณ์ขันและมีรูปลักษณะใกล้เคียงกับตัวจริงของ เขา นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นผู้จัดการให้แจฮาด้วย คนสุดท้ายคืออีโซยอนเธอรับบทเป็นอีนา หญิงสาวที่เติบโตมาแต่ในบ้านและมีความมั่นใจในตัวเองอย่างมาก ทั้งสี่ที่พบกันโดยบังเอิญที่ออสเตรียได้กลับมาพบกันอีกครั้งที่โซลและค้นหา พรหมลิขิตแห่งรักครั้งใหม่อีกครั้งที่นี่ ฤดูใบไม้ผลิกำลังจะพัดผ่านพวกเขา พวกเขาทั้งหมดกำลังใฝ่ฝันถึงความรักครั้งใหม่ที่เหมือนกับแสงอาทิตย์ในฤดู ใบไม้ผลิ



เรื่องย่อ :

ดนตรีรักหัวใจปรารถนา Spring Waltzจะ บรรยายถึงเรื่องราวความทรงจำของเด็ก 2 คนซึ่งต่อมาต้องพรากจากกันด้วยอุบัติเหตุ 15 ปีผ่านไปทั้งสองได้กลับมาพบกันอีกครั้งดังชะตาลิขิต

ซูโฮ (Soo Ho) เด็กน้อยผู้กำพร้าแม่ตั้งแต่เด็ก ต้องอาศัยอยู่กับพ่ออย่างยากลำบากซึ่งไม่มีงานทำที่โซล วันๆ คิดแต่เล่นการพนันจนเป็นหนี้สินมากมาย วันหนึ่งพ่อของเขาก็คิดได้ว่าควรจะไปหาปู่ที่เกาะๆ หนึ่งเพื่อที่จะขอเงินและไปอาศัยอยู่ด้วย แต่เมื่อไปถึงกลับพบว่าปู่ได้เสียชีวิตไปแล้ว ทำให้ทั้งคู่เคว้งคว้างทั้งไม่มีเงินและไม่มีที่พักอาศัย แต่ก็โชคดีที่ได้ไปเจอผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งซึ่งเป็นเพื่อนเก่าของพ่อ เธอจึงให้ทั้งคู่ไปพักที่บ้านด้วยในฐานะเพื่อนคนหนึ่งและอยากให้ ซูโฮเป็นเพื่อนเล่นกับลูกสาวที่ป่วยออดๆแอดๆ ที่นั่นทำให้ซูโฮได้พบกับเด็กหญิงจิตใจดีคนหนึ่ง คนที่ทำให้เขารู้สึกว่าโลกนี้น่าอยู่ และมองโลกในแง่ดีมากขึ้น เพราะเขาเห็นพฤติกรรมที่ไม่ดีของพ่อมาตั้งแต่เด็กทำให้เขาคิดว่าเขาไม่อยาก เกิดเป็นลูกพ่อและไม่อยากอยู่บนโลกนี้นัก ….เธอเป็นลูกสาวของเพื่อนพ่อ นั่นคือ ฮึนยอง (Eun Young)



จากคนที่ปิดตัวเอง อารมณ์ร้อนกลายเป็นซูโฮคนใหม่เมื่อเขารู้ว่าเธอเป็นโรคร้าย และจะอยู่อีกไม่นาน แต่โชคร้ายที่ ฮึนยองเป็นโรคหัวใจและต้องเข้ารับการผ่าตัด แม่ของเธอพยายามเก็บเล็กผสมน้อยสะสมเงินไว้เพื่อเป็นค่าผ่าตัดลูกสาวซึ่ง ต้องใช้เงินมหาศาล ถึงแม้จะไม่มากมายนักแต่ก็พอที่จะเป็นค่ารักษาลูกสาวได้ แต่เธอไว้ใจผิดคนเมื่อพ่อของซูโฮขโมยเงินทั้งหมดไปและหนีเข้ากรุงโซล เธอจึงเข้ามาตามหาและโชคร้ายถูกรถชนตาย เด็กทั้งสองไม่รู้เรื่องราวร้ายๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นเลยสักนิด เมื่อพ่อและแม่ไม่กลับบ้าน พวกเขาจึงแอบเข้ามา กรุงโซลเพื่อตามหาพ่อแม่ พวกเขาเข้ามาโดยมีเงินติดตัวเพียงเล็กน้อย และฮึนยองก็อาการไม่ค่อยดีนัก หมดสติจนต้องเข้าโรงพยาบาลด่วน



เหมือนชีวิตถูกลิขิต ทำให้ซูโฮได้พบกับสามีภรรยาชาวเกาหลีคู่หนึ่งที่อาศัยอยู่ที่ออสเตรีย เมื่อพวกเขาเห็นหน้า ซูโฮก็คิดถึงลูกชายที่เสียชีวิตไปแล้ว และขอร้องให้ ซูโฮมาเป็นลูกเขาเพราะหน้าตาเขาก็คล้ายกับลูกชายมากๆ ซูโฮตกลงยอมไปอยู่ที่ ออสเตรียด้วยแต่มีข้อแม้ว่าพวกเขาจะต้องออกค่ารักษาและผ่าตัดให้ ฮึนยองจนหาย…คู่สามีภรรยาตกลงที่จะทำตามนั้นเพื่อให้ซูโฮยอมไปอยู่ด้วย แต่หลังจากพาฮึนยองเข้ารับการผ่าตัด พวกเขาก็โกหกซูโฮว่า ฮึนยองเสียชีวิตขณะได้รับการผ่าตัด เพื่อไม่ให้ ซูโฮคิดถึงและตัดใจจากเธอซะ และเขาก็ได้ย้ายไปอยู่ออสเตรียกับพ่อแม่บุญธรรม…..

ผ่านไป 15 ปี ซูโฮ อึนยองได้พบกับพี่ชายในชื่อ ยุน แจฮา อีกครั้งที่ออสเตรีย หลังจากนั้น ทั้งสองก็ได้กลับมาที่เกาหลีและได้สานสัมพันธ์ภาพกันอีกครั้ง บนความเจ็บปวดของหลายๆคน

ซอ โดยอง แสดงเป็น ยูน แจฮา

เขา เป็นนักเปียโนหนุ่มหล่อชื่อดังซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักในเกาหลีเพราะเคยได้รับ รางวัลมาแล้วมากมาย แม้ว่าเขาจะเติบโตมาในครอบครัวที่ร่ำรวย แต่เขากลับมีเพื่อนเพียงคนเดียว เพราะมีอุปนิสัยและบุคลิกที่ค่อนข้างแปลกออกไป ถึงกระนั้น เขาก็เป็นลูกที่เชื่อฟังพ่อแม่และเป็นคนมีความรับผิดชอบอย่างมากทั้งยังไม่ เคยคิดทำร้ายใคร เขาจะเปิดเผยความรู้สึกและเรื่องราวในใจต่อ Phillip ผู้ที่เป็นทั้งผู้จัดการส่วนตัวและเพื่อนเพียงคนเดียว

ฮัน ฮโยจู แสดงเป็น พัค อึนยอง
เธอเป็น เด็กสาวที่ฉลาด อ่อนโยน เธอเป็นหัวเรี่ยวหัวแรงในการช่วยเหลือพ่อแม่บุญธรรมขาย Gimbap (Rice roll) ซึ่งรับเธอมาเลี้ยงตั้งแต่เด็ก และเธอก็ยังขายของเล็กๆน้อยซึ่งเป็นงานฝีมือที่เธอทำเองและเสื้อผ้าอีกด้วย แม้ว่าเธอจะเรียนไม่จบ แต่เธอก็มีฝีมือทางด้านงานฝีมือมากจนได้รับรางวัล ไม่ว่าเธอจะทุกข์ทรมาน ยากลำบากเพียงใด แต่รอยยิ้มก็ไม่เคยเลือนหายไปจากใบหน้าของเธอ เธอได้รับรางวัลเป็นตั๋วเครื่องบินไปออสเตรีย และทำให้ได้พบกับ แจฮา ซึ่งเธอไม่เคยรู้เลยว่า เขาคือคนที่เธอตามหามาตลอด ซูโฮพี่ชายที่จากไปของเธอ

อี โซ ยอน แสดงเป็น ซง อีนา
เธอ เป็น working woman ตัวยง ซึ่งเริ่มทำธุรกิจตั้งแต่พนักงานทั่วไป จนได้กลายมาเป็น ผู้อำนวยการแผนกวางแผนของบริษัทชั้นนำเพลงแนว คลาสสิค ซึ่งแม้ว่าจะเป็นบริษัทของพ่อแม่เธอเองก็ตาม แต่เธอก็พยายามต่อสู้มาด้วยตัวเธอเอง เธอมีพร้อมและเพียบพร้อมทุกอย่าง เธอชอบแจฮา มาตั้งแต่วันเด็ก เธอตัดสินใจทิ้งทุกอย่างไปเรียนที่แคนาดาเพื่อที่จะได้พบกับแจฮา แต่เธอก็ไม่ได้เจอเขาจนเรียนจบ จนวันหนึ่ง เธอบังเอิญได้เห็นข่าวเขาใน นสพ เธอจึงบินไปหาเขาที่ออสเตรีย

Daniel Henney แสดงเป็น ฟิลลิปส์
เขา เป็นทั้งเพื่อนและผู้จัดการส่วนตัวของแจฮา เขาเป็นลูกครึ่ง ออสเตรีย+เกาหลี เขาใฝ่ฝันอยากจะเป็นนักดนตรีตั้งแต่วัยเด็ก เขาสามารถเล่นเปียโน กีตาร์ เชลโล่ และเครื่องดนตรีอื่นๆอีกมากมาย หลังจากเขาล้มเลิกความคิดที่จะเป็นนักดนตรี เขาก็เบนเข็มมาเป็นผู้จัดการส่วนตัวของ แจฮา ซึ่งเขาคิดว่า เป็นนักเปียโนยอดอัจฉริยะ เขาเป็นคนอ่อนโยน




Spring Waltz Review :

Jae-ha is a genius pianist with a politician father, loving mother, good manager and successful fianc้. However, Jae-ha isn't the Jae-ha his fianc้, Lee-Na, remembers in her childhood. Park Eun-young was a sickly child whose mother worked to earn money so that she could have an operation to save her life. Before her illness became worst, Su-ho, the son of a gambler is left in their care as his father disappears. Su-ho and Eun-young establish a relationship and spend most of the time looking for crystals on a beach in their village since Eun-young is very skilled at making crystal ornaments with shells.

When Su-ho's father returns, Eun-young falls ill and is sent to the hospital. The money her mother saved for her operation disappears as well as Su-ho's father. From there, many misfortunes befall the two friends such as death, separation, and misunderstandings. What becomes of poor Eun-young and her close relationship with Su-ho? What's their relationship with Jae-ha? How does Daniel Henney's character, Philip, play into this whole thing?



The story dragged a bit in the beginning and then really rushed at the end. I wouldn't say that it had the best story (like the director, Yoon Seok-Ho's previous works, Summer Scent and Autumn Tale) ever but it was okay. It was kind of cute and sad, but very typical of other dramas in that it included that love triangle with two people loving the same person but on one side it's unrequited.

At least, I was able to sit through the entire drama. Most of it was predictable like who was going to end up with whom and how each characters reaction would be having seen this or hearing that. There weren't any parts where I was so moved or saddened to the point that tears came running down my face but that may have been because the story wasn't very strong or truly creative (harsh, I know).



Spring Waltz provides a couple new faces into the drama scene. The two main leads Jae-ha (Seo Do-young) and Eun-young (Seo Do-young) are decent new actors. Eun-young is very good at expressing happiness but she's not very good at expressing shock or disappointment, even confusion towards the end of the drama when everything is revealed. What appears in her face is like she's just staring at the ground. Seo Do-young acts well as a piano prodigy with his cold, loner persona, so I wasn't very disappointed with him.



Philip, played by Daniel Henney was probably the reason for me being attracted to this drama considering the fact that he's a gorgeous model turned actor gaining fame in Korea; HOWEVER, I was truly disappointed after watching the drama. Sure, I fell in love with his "Prince Charming" personality in the drama but with his constant switch between English, German, and Korean when speaking to the other characters; I was just not getting it. Truly made you wonder whether the other characters understood him at all.



For instance, he'd speak in German to a character that could speak German and then switch to English when it's obvious the German-speaking person can't speak a drop of English. It's great he can speak all those languages but just stick with one, dude. On to Lee-na…I personally think that she did very well acting as the fianc้ of Jae-ha. She was sweet, elegant, and successful. When she got jealous, you hated her for the things she did and just wanted to smack her across the face so I'd have to give her props for doing such a nice job being the antagonist.



In total, there are 20 episodes for Spring Waltz. A bit too long. The middle was slow and uninteresting and towards the end, everything was just rushed, but that could be a good thing because I was getting tired of this jealousy issue and switch between languages.

This drama provided drama and romance. The drama was like any one seen in other K-dramas with love squares: man vs. man for one girl and woman vs. woman for one guy. The romance wasn't very strong between the two characters. I mean they were cute together and all but there was no real passion. Maybe it was the actors' inexperience in acting but I just didn't feel it. I felt friendship and that was it.

Since I'm a classical music fan, I really liked the background music. It was calming and enjoyable. It fit well with the fact that the main character was a pianist. The music also went along with the beautiful scenery of Germany and the islands in Korea.



If you haven't seen the other dramas created by director Yoon Seok-Ho, I guess I'd recommend it to you; otherwise, I'd skip it. It's kind of a disappointment after watching Autumn Tale which had a really good story line as well as characters (and actors woohoo!). I have yet to finish Summer Scent and to start Winter Sonata but so far, the stories are appealing and I haven't yet lost interest.

Spring Waltz wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great. I'm looking for greatness! This one was just okay…Anyways, if you happen to be a diehard fan of Daniel Henney, then sure, watch Spring Waltz. You'll get a glimpse of Henney's charms and skills in speaking different languages in this drama. Also watch it for the beautiful scenery and music. It's very soothing.

Seo Do-young 서도영 as Yoon Jae-ha (Chris Y.) 윤재하
Jaeha is a talented classical pianist of the next generation who has been closely watched with deep interests and concerns by Koreans since he won a prize in a famous concert. Even though he was brought up in a rich and enviable family under his father who is a foreign diplomat, Jaeha is a lonely person having only one friend because of his eccentric and particular personality. He is a well-mannered and dutiful son to his parents and never harms others, but his piano melody always sounds sad. He is hidden in a veil showing his true feelings only to his best friend and manager, Phillip. He is a sad person keeping the secrets of the past that nobody knows although he has a charismatic personality and wonderful environment.



Han Hyo Joo 한효주 as Park Eun-young (Arianne) 박은영
Eun-young is a diligent person who works at her adoptive mother’s gimbap (Korean rolled rice) house in the daytime and sells homemade accessories and clothes at her street stand at night. Even though she could not finish her studies, she is a talented person who is good with her hands and is to be able to win the grand prize in a handicraft contest open to the public. She never looses her smile nor her dashing spirit although she lives in poverty. She has an opportunity to visit Austria from her prize winning in the handicraft contest and meets Phillip and Jaeha by fate. Eun-young who does not know of this ironic fate deeply misses Suho from her childhood.



Daniel Henney as Phillip 필립
He is the only friend as well as the global manager of Yoon Jaeha. He was born to Austrian father and Korean mother and was expected to become a promising musician during his childhood. He plays the piano, the cello, the guitar, etc. Even though there are no musical instruments that he cannot play, he gave up playing music instruments. Instead, he decided to pursue his dream of a musician by becoming the manager of Jaeha who Phillip acknowledges as being a true musical genius. He is not only a considerate and warmhearted person who kindly understands Jae-Ha’s fretful personality but also is a romantic. Phillip is in love with Eun-young and despite knowing that she loves Jaeha, he chooses to stay by her side.

Lee So Yeon 이소연 as Song Ina 송이나
She is a capable career woman who started her career from the bottom and became the director of the planning department in a leading classical record and concert planning company by her own ability even though the company is owned by her parents. Ina is a perfect woman with remarkable beauty, wonderful background, and outstanding ability, but there is only one thing that she earnestly desires for. It is Jaeha who played the piano with her during her childhood. She has exceptionally liked Jaeha ever since her childhood; thus, she gave up playing the piano and left for Canada to find Jaeha after he left Korea. She has a reckless personality to do so. However, she could not find Jaeha but completed her study in Art Business in Canada. She voluntarily tries to promote Jaeha’s debut in Korea after she happened to see an article of Jaeha activeness in Austria. Supporting Cast
