[News] Jung Woo Sung Considering Noh Hee Kyung’s Upcoming K-drama 'Padam Padam'.

The Korean news have picked up on the possibility that Jung Woo Sung will be doing another K-drama this year (after going 15 years in movies and then coming back with the turkey that was Athena). The script for the upcoming fantasy melodrama Padam Padam (which is the sound of a heart beat makes in French) from famed screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung (Goodbye Solo, The World We Live In, More Beautiful Than a Flower) is currently in Jung Woo Sung’s hands and he’s apparently seriously considering it.
Padam Padam will be directed by the PD who helmed IRIS, and will be about the heartbreaking tale of a man who is wrongfully betrayed and has spent time behind bars. He comes out only to find himself in a love with a woman he cannot be with.
Normally this whole synopsis reeks of K-drama manufactured angst, but for the fact that it’s written by Noh Hee Kyung, who is only capable of writing honest human interactions without any superficial drivel. If Jung Woo Sung does this drama, his co-star simply has to be Son Ye Jin. Oh drama gods, please make it happen.
