We reported that "Coffee Prince" star Gong Yoo had wrapped up shooting for his latest film "The Crucible" back in May. Based on Gong Jiyoung's 2009 hit novel, "The Crucible" covers a similar real-life event of sexual assault that occurs at a school for the deaf. Gong Yoo, who takes on the role of a teacher uncovering the case, stars alongside actress Jung Yumi.
"The Crucible" was released in theaters nationwide in Korea on September 22.
Fortunately for fans in North America, the movie, under the title "Silenced", will be shown in theaters in various locations throughout the United States and Canada beginning on November 4. With showings in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Jose, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Las Vegas, Toronto, and Vancouver; the "Silenced" screenings are must-sees.
