[News] KBS to air a documentary on Jang Keun Suk in January.

On January 1st, KBS 2TV will be ringing in the new year with a special documentary featuring actor Jang Geun Suk. It will highlight key moments of Jang Keun Suk’s career, including his secret to turning Japan upside-down as a Hallyu star.
The documentary will mainly focus on Jang Keun Suk’s Japanese Arena Tour. KBS stated, “60,000+ tickets for Jang Geun Suk’s Arena Tour sold out within five minutes of going on sale. Each of his performances put on in Nagoya, Osaka, Saitama, and the Tokyo Dome were met with fans’ explosive cheers.”
“We have captured the exciting fever and energy of his concerts, as well as the diverse testimonies of his Japanese fans and industry professionals. We will shed light on his current status in Japan as a rising Hallyu star,” KBS continued.
The documentary won’t focus on his musical achievements alone. Footage of Jang Keun Suk taking part in Japanese and Chinese CFs as well as working as a content developer and the head of his agency, treeJ Company, will also be included.
Fans will also be able to catch a glimpse of the actor’s everyday life as an ordinary individual in his 20′s by covering his day-to-day activities.
KBS concluded, “Jang Keun Suk has gone from a child actor to an adult actor, from an adult actor to the representative figure of Hallyu. Through his own dreams and future challenges, [he will help] Hallyu to make significant waves across the globe.”
