On December 17th, the cast of ‘My Princess‘ held a Christmas concert at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Japan.
Sponsored by Fuji TV and Angelic, the concert was attended by actors Song Seung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, Ryu Soo Young, and B2ST‘s Kikwang.
During the talk segment, Kim Tae Hee revealed, “It was my first time in a historical drama, so the weight of the elaborate ‘gachae’ hairstyles forced me to take headache pills.” Ryu Soo Young added, “Normally, our stamina and everything will drop after four days of nonstop filming, but Kim Tae Hee remained focused and on top of everything.”
When asked to reveal a story from the set, Kikwang said, “I received sweet potatoes and snacks as gifts, but they kept disappearing. Even the carrots and sweet potatoes prepared as props for the set disappeared. I later found out that it was because Song Seung Hun was taking them.”
Song Seung Hun quickly explained, “The late night filmings left me famished, and I felt I would die if I didn’t eat them.”
Turning to the topic of her co-star Kikwang, Kim Tae Hee said, “He has so much aegyo that I thought to myself that he wasn’t the ‘beastly idol’ his image made him to be. When I saw B2ST performing, I almost became suspicious on whether I was watching the real Kikwang on stage.”
B2ST also attended the concert and performed their hit tracks, “Bad Girl”, “Shock”, “Fiction”, and “Rainy Days”. “It was really cool to watch Kikwang work so hard in the drama,” they said. “He’s our multi-talented friend, and with each new day, he becomes more and more like a true actor. We’re proud of his potential.”
Concluding the concert, the casts sang a medley of Christmas songs. Smiling, Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun said, “The energy of our acting comes from your love and happiness. We hope everyone had fun today.”
