Korean actor Yoo Ah-in is discussing his appearance in an upcoming SBS TV series, according to his agency STAR-K Entertainment.
On Thursday, an official with STAR-K told 10Asia that Yoo "is looking into the role in a positive light although nothing has been finalized yet and we are still in discussions."
If Yoo takes on the drama, he will play the male lead in "King of Fashion" (translated title), making his return to the small screen in two years after starring in KBS’ drama "SungKyunKwan Scandal."
"Fashion" will tell the success story of a young man who makes it in the fashion industry. It is scheduled to air every Monday and Tuesday night in March 2012 after new series "The History of a Salaryman" ends its run.
Yoo has appeared in several TV dramas including “Strongest Chilwoo” (KBS, 2008) and “The Man Who Can’t Get Married” (KBS, 2009) as well as several films such as “Antique” (2008) “Boys of Tomorrow” (2006) and “Shim’s Family (2007).
He rose to stardom through “SungKyunKwan Scandal” and recently starred in hit movie "Punch" which is the third most-watched Korean film of 2011.
