Actor Song Joong-ki is prepping up to hit the road for a round of meet-and-greets in six Asian countries, according to his agency sidusHQ on Monday.
Titled "Song Joong Ki Asia Fan Meeting Tour - THRILL & LOVE," his fan meetings will take place in Thailand, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Seoul in order, between April 28 and July.
The "SungKyunKwan Scandal" heartthrob will kick off his large-scale event starting with Thailand next Wednesday, where it will be joined by some 20,000 fans at the PARAGON HALL in Bangkok.
Meanwhile, Song began shooting "Teenage Wolf" (tentative title) with actress Park Bo-young last December and is waiting for its premiere in local theaters sometime this year.
The actor began his acting career with "Frozen Flower," which had provoked social controversy in the country due to the homosexual love story between the characters played by actor Zo In-sung and Joo Jin-mo, during the Goryeo Dynasty.
He shot to stardom last year after starring in KBS' history drama “SungKyunKwan Scandal" with JYJ member Park Yuchun and actress Park Min-young in 2010, and gained more recognition as an actor by playing a young king in the SBS' hit series "Deep Rooted Tree" last year.
