Korean actor Jung Il-woo has signed an exclusive contract with talenthouse Management Soop.
According to a press release by the firm on Friday, Jung's activities with now be handled under Soop, which also manages the careers of top stars Jeon Do-youn, Gong Yoo and Kong Hyo-jin.
"My decision in signing with Soop was based on the trust and faith that I have with C.E.O Kim Jang-kyun. I didn't think about moving to other companies," Jung was quoted as saying in the statement.
Jung made his debut with the thriller “The World of Silence” in 2006. The actor followed it up by appearing in the small and big screens with his works scoring notable records in sales.
He has recently been receiving more spotlights with his role in MBC’s mega-hit series “The Moon Embracing the Sun,” which ended its run on March 15.
