Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk has announced that he is opening up the recipes of his special Korean dishes.
Jang Keun-suk, who has been active with his acting and singing career recently, is to publish "Jang Keun-suk's LOVE RECIPE" in Japan on June 10, his agency YTree Media said in a press release Friday.
The "Love Rain" actor's new book will introduce Jang's own recipes of 20 Korean dishes like Kimchi soup and dumpling soup, and a DVD attached to the book will feature Jang cooking the food himself.
According to the officials, the star included his own essays and photos in the soon-to-be released book for his fans.
Just three days ago, meanwhile, the artist broke Oricon's record by becoming the first foreign solo artist in the coveted chart's history to score double wins on its daily and weekly charts with the first official album.
Jang is scheduled to hit the road for his Asia tour, dubbed "THE CRI SHOW 2," starting with Seoul in July. He will then take the show to four cities in Japan -- Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka --, two cities in China -- Shanghai and Shenzen -- , Taiwan and Thailand in order, the officials said.
