[News] FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki is cast in the film Our Heaven.

FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki will appear on the screen.

On July 30, the investor KJ-net reported that Lee was recently cast in the film Our Heaven (working title, directed by Nam Taek Soo).

Our Heaven is a film about a naughty celebrity who comes to a hospice, which is facing a shutdown, to do volunteer work after causing a scandal.

Through many patients at the hospice, he realizes the importance of his life and music. In the film, Lee plays the role of a top celebrity named Chung Ui.

Through his volunteer work, he gets healed by the patients who never stop challenging new things even if they’re facing death.

Having appeared in such drama series as SBS TV’s You’re Beautiful and KBS 2TV’s Noriko Goes to Seoul, Lee will appear on the screen for the first time through this film.

Lee says, “I wanted to be careful in choosing my first film.

I was very touched when I read the script of this film, so I chose this one.” Lee will begin filming in September, and the film will be released early in 2013.
