The movie is based on the story of the martial arts master, Ip Man, who later trained Bruce Lee.
The trailer reveals scenes of drama, action, tears and joy with a stellar cast that includes Tony Leung, Zhang Zhiyi, Chang Chen, Zhao Benshan, Song Hye Gyo and more.
Playing the wife of Tony Leung’s Ip Man character, Song Hye Gyo only appears for a brief scene, but it′s impactful – showing Song Hyo Gyo smiling whilst her tears mix with the rain falling on her face.
Her character is described as the lone individual Ip Man can find comfort and rest in.
The movie premieres in China on December 18.
