The KBS series “Seo-young, My Daughter” has been named as the most-watched TV program once again last week, topping the weekly TV chart for the11th week.
The weekend drama stretched its winning streak for another week after posting an average of 32.2 percent ratings during the week of December 10 to 16, TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] showed Monday.
As the perfect husband Woo-jae [played by Lee Sang-yoon] discovers his mysterious wife Seo-young’s [played by Lee Bo-young] secret regarding her family members, the conflict between the couple has become more serious in last two nights’ episodes.
Sitting at No. 2 is the KBS daily series “Cheer Up, Mr. Kim!,” which registered an average ratings of 27.0 in the same time frame.
The KBS Sunday comedy show “Gag Concert,” featuring comedian Yoon Hyung-bin’s real-life marriage proposal to comedienne Jung Gyeong-mi, climbed up to No. 3 after pulling in 26.5 percent of total viewers.
While the MBC weekend series “May Queen” landed at the fourth position with 21.2 percent ratings, the KBS 9 o’clock News rounded off the top five with 19.7 percent of viewers.
Other TV shows in the top ten are the SBS variety show “I Like Sundays,” MBC’s reality comedy “Infinite Challenge,” MBC’s period-set series “The King’s Doctor,” “KBS 7 o’clock News” and SBS’ cultural program “Cube.”
In the meantime, AGB Nielson Multimedia Research showed the top three programs in the same order with slightly different figures from TNmS in the same period.
While “Seo-young” grabbed the top seed with 28.4 percent ratings, “Cheer Up” and “Gag Concert” followed next with 24.0 and 23.7 percent, respectively.
