The press conference for upcoming MBC TV Wed-Thu drama ‘When a Man Loves’ was held on March 27th at the 63 Building in Yeouido, Seoul, and saw the presence of leading cast members like Song Seung Hun, Shin Se Kyung, Yeon Woo Jin, Chae Jung Ahn, and others.
When asked about his fellow cast member Chae Jung Ahn, Song Seung Hun said, “Everyone knows that Chae Jung Ahn was my first partner in my acting career. We were a couple in 1996 MBC TV drama ‘Three Guys and Three Girls’. Time has really flew by, and now we are acting together in a traditional romance drama again, but it still feels really refreshing to me like the first time.”
As for his co-star Shin Se Kyung, Song Seung Hun replied, “Although it’s our first collaboration, Shin Se Kyung is showing off her polished and mature acting skills that belies her relatively young age. She has in fact led me to constantly pick up new things along the way, I personally am looking forward to her performance in the drama.”
‘When a Man Loves’ will succeed the outgoing ‘7th Grade Civil Servant’ which ended its run yesterday, and talks of dramatic love stories that will happen to one’s life in that present moment. The drama is written by Kim In Young whose previous works include ‘Man of the Equator’ and ‘Woman of the Sun’, while directing the drama will be Kim Sang Ho who previously directed ‘Can You Hear My Heart’ and ‘Arang and the Magistrate’.
‘When a Man Loves’ starring Song Seung Hun, Shin Se Kyung, Yeon Woo Jin, and Chae Jung Ahn, will make its debut at 9:55PM (KST) from next Wednesday, April 3rd.
