Although not much is known about the production of the highly anticipated Bu Bu Jing Qing <步步惊情>, Tangren continues to build the hype for the Bu Bu Jing Xin <步步惊心> modern sequel with the release of four new character posters.

Two weeks ago, Tangren released its first set of character posters, which included Cecilia Liu (刘诗诗) as protagonist Zhang Xiao, Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) as Xiao’s love interest Yin Zheng, Damian Lau (劉松仁) as Kang Holdings CEO Kang Zhentian, Sun Yizhou (孙艺洲) as Kang’s eldest son Kang Sihan, Jiang Jingfu (蔣勁夫) as second son Kang Siyu, Ye Zuxin (叶祖新) as Zheng’s subordinate Jack, and Sean Chen (陈翔) as Xiao’s boyfriend, Huang Di.

While the last batch of poster releases featured the drama’s main male characters, this week’s poster unveiling gives us a quick look at four new female characters. The new set of posters feature Annie Liu (劉心悠) as Annie, Ye Qing (叶青) as Ye Yifan, Yico Tseng (曾轶可) as Ling Dang, and Elaine Cai (蔡 姣) as Mo Xiaohe. Yico Tseng’s transformation as an androgynous rocker has also generated much heated discussion at online forums.

Bu Bu Jing Qing, a spiritual sequel to Bu Bu Jing Xin, takes place against the backdrop of modern-day Shanghai, amidst the world of business politics. Zhang Xiao, a white-collar worker, is hired to work at Zhentian Internet Group by chance and meets the business magnate Yin Zheng, falling in love with him.
Bu Bu Jing Qing commenced filming in Tianjin on March 2. Shooting is expected to be completed by June 2013.
