[VOD & News] Kenneth Ma Moved to Tears for Outstanding Performing Actor Award.

The Federation of Hong Kong Film Makers held a 20th anniversary gala dinner in conjunction with their Outstanding Performing Artists Awards ceremony on Saturday evening. Kenneth Ma (馬國明) was moved to tears when he was voted by various representatives of the Federation as the 2012 Most Outstanding Performing Actor in the television category.
The Federation is comprised of film-making professionals such as producers, directors and scriptwriters. The Outstanding Performing Artists Awards for the television category resembled a a repeat of the 2012 Malaysia Astro on Demand Awards, with Kenneth’s costar in The Hippocratic Crush < On Call 36小時>, Tavia Yeung (楊怡) winning the Outstanding Performing Actress for the television category.
Kenneth was noticeably pleased that his performance was acknowledged by the Federation. Kenneth said, “I feel so encouraged that even the professionals behind the scenes acknowledged my efforts.”
When Kenneth started to cry, Tavia wiped his tears away and was also touched upon seeing Kenneth’s reaction. Tavia felt that both the TVB Anniversary Awards and Federation’s Outstanding Performing Artist awards are equally valuable as they are voted by different groups of people.
The Federation’s awards not only acknowledges the efforts and contributions of artists in the television industry, it also recognizes artists from the film and and music industries.
