A Taiwanese drama series starring Super Junior’s Siwon and Donghae is airing soon.
At a promotional press conference for GTV’s drama series Extravagant Challenge, which took place in Taipei, Taiwan, on December 14, Siwon and Donghae got mobbed by photographers along with Ivy Chen, a leading actress of the drama series.
Extravagant Challenge is based on a Japanese cartoon Skip Beat, which is also well known in Korea. It tells a story about love and conflicts among two men and a girl who becomes a star to avenge on her old friend who is a popular idol singer after getting betrayed by him.
Siwon plays the role of Don Ha Ryun, a popular and talented actor, and Donghae plays the role of Bul Pa Sang, a selfish playboy who has a musical talent.
The Taiwanese press predicts that Extravagant Challenge will be a big success as it stars two Super Junior members who are sensationally popular now, influenced by Korean drama series that have also been very popular in recent years.
