Korean actor Baek Sung-hyun will play a high school in an upcoming KBS drama, according to his agency Sidus HQ on Tuesday.

Joining actor Gong Yoo and actress Lee Min-jung, Baek is the latest addition to famed scriptwriters Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran's drama "Big" set to make its premiere in June.

Sidus said that Baek will take on the role of a high school student named Gil Cheong-sik who attends school where his sister Gil Da-ran (Lee) is a teacher in "Big." He will also fall head over heels in love with Marie (played by miss A's Suzy), who is an international student.

"Big" will tell the story of Suh Yoon-jae (Gong Yoo) who is a man in his thirties that later wakes up one day to find himself with a soul of an 18-year-old teenager.

Making his first big appearance as the child version of Kwon Sang-woo's character in SBS' "Stairway to Heaven" in 2003, Baek has since starred in a number of other series "Elephant" (MBC, 2008) and "The Accidental Couple" (KBS, 2009).
