A new movie starring Big Bang’s T.O.P will resume shooting after the sudden leave of the director.

An official from the film's production company The Lamp announced that "The Classmates" [tentative title] will resume filming as it found the replacement for the position, according to Korea's entertainment news agency STARNEWS' report Tuesday.

The report explained that director Park Hong-soo will be filling in the post with his experience as an assistant director in several popular movies.

He was originally an assistant director in "The Classmates" and The Lamp official said he has won much credibility and confidence from the cast members and staffs during the short production process.

The Lamp temporarily stopped shooting “The Classmates” in mid-August due to the poor weather condition. In August, Seoul was hit by two major typhoons--Typhoon Bolaven and Tembin--that left more than 25 people dead or missing.

Director Park Shin-woo, who was directing the film then, decided to step down from the movie after building conflict with other producers.

In the motion pic, which kicked off its shooting in July, T.O.P will take the role of a North Korean spy named Myeong-hoon. He illegally crosses the Korean border to save his sister [played by actress Kim You-jung], while working as an assassinator that kills apostates there.

Myeong-hoon, who disguises himself as a normal high school student, later falls in love with his classmate named Hye-in [played by actress Han Yeri].
