[News] MBC “Tale of Arang” Dominates Wed-Thurs Primetime TV Chart.

MBC’s “Tale of Arang” has taken over the No. 1 spot on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime ratings chart.

“Tale of Arang,” starring Lee Joon-gi and Shin Mina, stole No.1 from KBS "Bridal Mask," which ended last week, with an average rating of 17 percent during the third week of September, according to data polled by TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] Friday.

The historic fantasy series has secured a considerable number of regular viewers by well-describing the hopeless love between district magistrate Eun-oh [played by Lee] and female ghost Arang [played by Shin].

Below the chart-topping drama is KBS’ new series “The Innocent Man,” which debuted at No. 2 with 11 percent of the total audience tuned in during the same time frame.

The Song Joong-ki and Moon Chae-won starrer kicked off its fresh start by explaining the background of Kang Ma-roo [Song]’s personal vendetta against his old lover Han Jae-hee, played by another female lead Park Si-yeon.

SBS’ romantic comedy “For You in Full Blossoms” sat at the bottom of the chart after drawing in an average of 5.7 percent on Wednesday and Thursday.

On this week's episodes, Seol Hanna [played by Kim Ji-won] found out Gu Jae-hee's [f(x)'s Sulli] secret of disguising herself as a guy and feeling betrayed by her crush Kang Tae-joon [SHINee's Minho].

Meanwhile, AGB Nielson's data ranked the dramas in the same order but with slightly different numbers.

In the same period as TNmS, "Tale of Arang" enjoyed its top spot with ratings of 14.3 percent, followed by “The Innocent Man” and ”For You in Full Blossoms” that each sat at No. 2 and No. 3 with 10.2 and 5.6 percent.
