Yoon Eun Hye recently talked about how she spent her year and a half vacation.
On November 1, Yoon attended a press conference for MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday series Missing You and said that it has been a year and five months since she previously appeared on a TV series.
Yoon added, “I took one and half years off to rest and study. During that time, I read many synopsis for several TV series. Then I read the synopsis for Missing You and I felt warm in my heart.”
She also talked about the character that she plays in the series, “I can’t explain her with just one word but I wanted to portray her. I wanted to play a character that can comfort the audience before I turn 30. I’m excited to perform with great actors.”
The series is a classical melodrama about a man and woman, who have wounded hearts from their first love that they shared when they were fifteen years old.
Yoon plays the role of a fashion designer named Lee Soo Yeon. She is always bright and confident in herself, but she is also hiding a deep sadness inside her mind.
The series is written by writer Moon Hee Jung, who wrote Can You Hear My Heart. Producer Lee Jae Dong, who produced Thank You, will work together with the writer for the new series, which will start airing on November 7 at 9:55 p.m.
