Cha Tae Hyun & Uee Share Kiss Among Autumn Foliage

KBS 2TV’s new drama series “Jeon Woo Chi” is a historical drama series based on a classic novel of the same title. It’s about guru Jeon Woo Chi (played by Cha Tae Hyun) who tries to take revenge on his friend for betraying him after he loses his master Hong Gil Dong and lover Hong Moo Yeon (played by UEE).

Filmed in Moongyeong in North Gyeongsang Province on November 12, both Cha Tae Hyun and Uee had to work hard to make the scene seem warm and romantic despite the chilly temperatures from the rain showers earlier in the day and their thin hanbok. Showing no signs of awkwardness, the two immediately jumped into character once the cameras started rolling to successfully shoot their kiss scenes without any NGs.

It was the first romantic scene for Cha Tae Hyun and Uee as the two have been focusing more on the action scenes until then. UEE had been embarrassed before the kiss scene, but Cha Tae Hyun managed to make her laugh and loosen her up by imitating her lines with a comical voice. Staff member said Uee was unable to stop laughing for a while thanks to Cha Tae Hyun’s kind consideration of her.

Following the kiss scene’s filming, Uee shared, “After shooting action scenes every day, I became a bit nervous shooting a tender scene for the first time in a long while. I feel I was able to convey that feeling properly. Thanks to Tae Hyun’s help, I feel I was able to concentrate and fully become my Moo Yeon character so I’m very happy.”

The production company, Chorokbaem Media, says, “All the cast members are working hard despite the cold weather. Please look forward to the love story between Jeon Woo Chi and Hong Moon Yeon.”
