[News] “The Horse Doctor” Pulls off 10th Consecutive Win.

The MBC drama “The Horse Doctor” has stretched its winning streak for ten weeks in a row.

The Cho Seung-woo and Lee Yo-won starrer landed at the No. 1 spot in the Monday and Tuesday primetime lineup, drawing in an average 17.8 percent ratings during the week of December 17 and 18, TNmS’ [Total National Multimedia Statistics] showed Wednesday.

The period-set drama has claimed the biggest number of TV viewers by centering around a young veterinarian becoming a royal physician during the Joseon Dynasty.

Next up was the KBS drama “School 2013,” which earned the support of 12.9 percent, seeing a rise of 2.0% from last week.
The teenage drama, starring Jang Nara and Lee Jong-seok, has been drawing much attention with its realistic portrayal of teenagers' lives and interesting storylines.

The SBS drama “THE KING OF THE DRAMA,” starring Kim Myung-min, Jung Ryeo-won and Super Junior’s Siwon, sat at the bottom on the chart after scoring only an average 7.3 percent rating.

In the meantime, AGB Nielson Media Research showed the three dramas in the same order with slightly different figures from TNmS in the third week of December.

“The King’s Doctor” grabbed the top seed with an average rating of 16.7 percent, while “School 2013” and “THE KING OF THE DRAMA” followed next with 10.7 and 7.1 percent ratings, respectively.
