Lee Byung Hun cleared up the many rumors that have plagued him for so long.

The actor appeared on the March 11 broadcast of SBS′ Healing Camp and addressed each rumor along with his own explanations.

After saying that he decided to appear on Healing Camp through a recommendation from his girlfriend, actress Lee Min Jung, he first made clear why he had avoided appearing in variety before.

"I thought audiences would be able to enjoy my movies more the less they know about me," he said. "It′s not like I wanted to be a mystery. After reading comments about me and some other evaluations, however, I found that they seemed to talk about someone who is not me. I wanted to address those issues."

He even specifically picked out the actresses he had become involved in love rumors with, and refuted each one.

On rumors that he is a playboy, Lee Byung Hun said, "If you define playboys as people who love other people while they′re already in a relationship, I am not that. I have met the average number of people others my age meet. I don′t want to be enthusiastic about it, or deny it."

He then talked about his love rumors with Kim Min Hee, Yun Eun Hye and other top actresses.

He said, "I thought they would like to talk about it too, so perhaps it would be right for me to speak for them. I′ve never even met [Kim Min Hee or Yun Eun Hye] alone. I especially met Yun Eun Hye for the first time after the rumors spread."

"People say the rumors would have sprung up for a reason, but in showbiz, rumors do spring up for no reason at all," he said.

The actor also talked about the rumors surrounding his donut shop commercials, as well as the panic disorder and depression he had suffered from at the height of his career.
